METAL SHEETS
Imagine bringing home not one but to infants to a home that is literally falling apart. We have a family in urgent need of metal sheets to repair and secure their home. Recently, part of their roof collapsed, leaving dad, mom (and her new baby) a teenager (who also just gave birth), and three siblings, all confined to one room, sharing just two beds.
Although they don't own the property and cannot build a more permanent structure, with the gift of metal sheets, they would be able to repair and expand their home, creating a safer and more comfortable space for the family to live. Your support can make a lasting difference.

MEET MARISOL
At only 15 and pregnant (due to r*pe), Marisol is already the primary caretaker of her deteriorating home. Her father is 77, and after her mother abandoned the family, Marisol was left to care for her younger brothers, ages 6, 8, and 14.
When we arrived, their only food was half a bag of chicken seasoning, half a bag of sugar, and a bottle of oil. They survive on wild squash, beans, and coffee gathered from nearby fields. The family lives in a shack with a leaking roof that is falling apart. They have three beds: one for her father, one for Marisol, and one shared by her three younger brothers. Soon her older sister will move in with her two children (an infant and 2 year old).
Because their home is on public land we cannot build a permanent home. However our desire is to reinforce the home, build a second room for the sisters and their children to share and give everyone new beds.
